My art obsession started in the mid-90’s using strictly traditional drawing mediums such as graphite pencils and colored pencils. By the early 2000’s I was using ink-well pens mixed with COPIC markers and colored pencils. Finally, getting the chance to be in a art class I learned how to master oil painting and found a easy subject matter to flourish in. A few paintings were sold and displayed in local galleries before I had graduated high school. Along my school journey I had several art teachers point out; that my art style would change depending on the art medium I was using since I was self taught myself in various of mediums and was constantly studying other artists work. After starting college for Animation I had learned how to draw digitally using a Wacom tablet and fell in love with the forgiveness that digital art allowed. Mistakes were more easily fixed with a hit of a button verses trying to cover up or alter the artwork to hide mistakes. Sadly, I had stopped doing traditional art and oil paintings for a decade and focused on digital art alone. In recent years I have slowly started carving out more time in my schedule to start oil painting again.

I have traveled and lived for short periods of my life in various places and countries from America, Europe and Asia studying local artists while learning new techniques. This has highly influenced my ever-evolving art style as I discover and rediscover inspirations throughout those experiences.
